Terry Dickey hosted a herding seminar instructed by Devona Myrick.  The weekend was a wonderful time for handlers and dogs to learn more about herding--from beginners to advanced.  Most of the dogs and handlers that attended had taken obedience classes at Jae-Mar-S.  Everyone had a great time!!!                                            (Pictures by Emily and Georgia)

Devona helps Georgie direct Cheyanne. Terry and Tag enjoy fetching the sheep.

Mary Dee and Nikki rotated groups of sheep so the sheep did not get too tired.

Kalla turned on to sheep as Beth encouraged her. Emily started Badger at six months and he had a ball.

Lois E and  Mick had no trouble moving the sheep.  Mazzy turns the sheep keeping her distance.

Tony started out on a line.  Dick and Halley moved around the pen with confidence.

Cheyanne moved the sheep towards Georgie calmly. Carol and Murphy had fun learning to work the sheep.

Linda and Kat drove the sheep through fence panels. Wanda and  Eddie learned to get the sheep out of a pen.

Chili has a beautiful controlled "lie down"  while Georgie and Devona discuss the herding plan.

Wanda and  Eddie kept the sheep moving.
